D'Angibau Solicitors

The firm is the result of the merger in 1994 of D'Angibau & Malim, Walker Hinds and Willmot & East having been founded originally in 1891.  The practice is broadly based with strong departments dealing with residential conveyancing, commercial property, business transfers, probate/trusts and litigation.

D’Angibau LLP is a full supporter of the Law Society's National Protocol called "Transaction", (designed to speed up and simplify residential conveyancing procedure).

The Firm holds a Legal Aid franchise granted by the Legal Services Commission and is on the Children Panel, Family Law Panel and Personal Injuries Panel (Accident Line) as well as being a member of The Law Society, the Law Society Mediation Panel and the Solicitors Family Law Association.

Peter Johnson has been appointed to appear in all higher courts (including the Crown Court) and is a CEDR accredited mediator and Jonathan Harvey is a trained mediator on all types of family issues.

In July 1997 D’Angibau LLP was granted an Investors in People Award in addition to the "Family Friendly" Award granted by Dorset TEC.

The firm is a member of The Dorset Chamber of Commerce and is closely involved with local interests, including sport and the Arts.
