"In response to new rules that came into force late last year D'Angibau are offering a free consultation and fixed fee service to anyone who has mortgage arrears and is battling with their lender to try and keep their house. Many borrowers are unaware of the new rules which are designed to ensure that lenders act reasonably to resolve any matters concerning both mortgage and home purchase plans arrears. In some circumstances defaulting lenders will face penalties if they do not try and reach a compromise before issuing proceedings.
